Our minimum booking time is 1½ hours (90 minutes). Bookings are made in 30-minute increments. If your event is a wedding, years of experience has shown us that most wedding ceremonies require between 1½ and 2½ hours of performance time. This ensures that you have sufficient time in the event of any unexpected delays.

A full Catholic mass usually requires 2½ hours. If your wedding ceremony is at the same location as your reception, 2 to 2½ hours will usually cover the ceremony plus the cocktail hour. Click here for information on site locations and logistics. For the entire ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, 3 to 4 hours are usually necessary.

Please fill out our Inquiry Form so we can check availability for your event and mail you a contract to review if we are available. Note that Saturdays from May through October fill quickly, so inquire early to avoid disappointment.

To help you plan the exact length of music service required for a wedding, here are some suggestions:

  1. The Prelude is usually 30 minutes in length. This allows time for your guests to be seated and to create an appropriate atmosphere.
  2. The Processional and Ceremony (together) can range from 15 minutes to an hour, depending on the type of service.
  3. You will usually need about 15-20 minutes of Recessional music as the bridal party and guests exit.
  4. If we will be working with a soloist, you will need to extend your booking time by at least ½ hour to allow time for a rehearsal prior to the start of the prelude.
  5. Be sure to allow about 15 extra minutes to account for any unexpected delays.
  6. If you want to include your cocktail hour, add an extra hour or so. If you include the dinner hour, add another 1-2 hours.

The addition of a trumpet can create a marvelous regal tone. We can provide a trumpeter for an additional fee (contact us for quotes). We can also work with your vocalist, pianist or organist. There is a small additional fee to work with your soloist due to the extra coordination time involved.
